Have you tried Cleartype font on ur XP?
Have you tried turing on Clear Type font on xp? You might ask why do u say XP. . . cause MS provides it only for XP. I just tried it and i wish i had a W2S FTP account where i could upload my after beforescreenshots and post them here.

Go http://www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype/tuner/1.htm and give it a look/try.
well to give you a idea , when u enble clear type font.. the fonts on screen smoothen like u might see on a laptop.

i dont hav that much of a problem .. but will give this proggy a try..
