Half-Life and Catalyst 4.2

This is a discussion about Half-Life and Catalyst 4.2 in the Ati General Topics category; Just wanted to know if anyone ELSE was having trouble getting Half-Life to run with the new 4.2 drivers?? I can get DOD to run no problem. . . . but HL is kaputz !! This is within Win XP by the way.

this is no Cat4.2 problem ... HL has problems with winXP in general .. it can work flawlessly but it can also not work ... but yes give a better description
