The Det 21.81 Drivers are available on the site now, get em!!
Just think dude...
I've got a Geforce2Pro64, I had it running just fine on the 12.90 drivers.
So why should I swap to the 20.xx drivers right??
Because there's a reason why!! Nvidia made these there new official drivers...let's see why...
-Performance increases of up to 50% (Nvidia put this line in from there det6.50 release so nothing new here)
-Highly optimized DirectX® and OpenGL® pipelines!
-New OpenGL 1.3 ICD with NVIDIA extensions!
- NVIDIA´s patented Unified Driver Architecture (UDA) – all products supported in single driver binary!
And offcourse there're more improvements but
Nvidia's not gonna put it all in there release notes.
So you'll gain maybe not framerates but new compatibility and quality in this driver.
But it's always depending on what games you play, f.a. if you still play alot DirecX7 game you'll gain probably nothing on this 20.xx driver and the 12.90 driver cause they're all for DX8 support.
For best DX7 performance stick to the 7.xx drivers and benchmark in 3DMark 2000!
Full DX8 support starts with the 10.xx drivers 11.xx 12.xx 14.xx 20.xx and up.
For DX8 benchmarking use 3DMark 2001!
You must understand what drivers do and support, so always read the release notes first before just swapping to another detdriver like so many people do and start trowing with 3Dmark scores and whining about it!!!
Hope I made meself clear...

How we were lead astray, the performance of the 21.81 were pure crap, the scary part was the fact that we all believed the hype with regards to to "50%" improvements.
I will defy anybody to show me a 50% improvement in any of the Nvidia cards, including the GF3s.
