Gigabyte EasyTune4 / CPU multiplier

This is a discussion about Gigabyte EasyTune4 / CPU multiplier in the General Hardware category; I want to OC my Duron 1000,but CPU multiplier button is greyed out. Will it work if I connect L1 bridges on CPU? (I have GA-7ZXE mobo).

You MUST connect the L1 bridges for the multiplier to work, the athlons/durons will just refuse to run at a different multiplier even if the mainboard forces them. Even so, not many mainboards support software multiplier change, so you may have to go back to the dip switches to change them.
