Anyone know why or how to change my irq settings for my GF4. It shows in Device Manager set as IRQ 5? weird. I though most cards ran at IRQ 11. Must be the reason I am having problems with my SbLive card. I cannot use it because when I install it . it causes my video to go to 4 bit crap. Code Error 10. Video will not initialize. Seems my Sound card is IRQ 5 also with my NIC, and RAid controllers.

Anywayz any sites for tips on changing IRQ's for Video Card please post. Or IF I shouldnt mess with settings let me know. Running WinXP Pro right now. :-?

WindowsXP uses ACPI... which means it puts *everything* on a single irq, this is usually 5,9,10 or 11. There's no reason it should stop your video, but try and keep the SBLive out of the top slot (closet to the video card) and make sure "Plug and Play OS" is set to NO in the bios.

Have set the bios setting "assign unique irq to agp (may say pci)"

Do this as it will do exactly that.

Hope this helps
