Hi Guys
Got an unusual problem with my Nvidia card. About a day ago it was all fine, I could video out from my PC perfectly to my TV as I always have.
I tried yesterday and the output was Black and White, but if I tried to apply the setting( to see if would apply the B&W setting anyway), then the select option for Single, Clone etc just reverts to single and you have to restart the computer to get the options back.
I have just installed a new SB Live 5.1 sound card into the PCI slot 2 places down from the AGP slot, and I am thinking perhaps this is using too much power or is causing some sort of conflict?!
On a seprate note, I was testing an ATI Radeon 9500 card in place of my Geforce FX for a little while and I just swapped the cards over - didn't install or uninstall any new drivers.
The freaky thing is, when I opened the case to take out the video card and put it back in, the case and interior was incredibly hot. Not sure if this is a related problem - Just moved to a new place and it is very hot in Australia at the moment OR the sound card is using too much power for the case to handle.
Any ideas?
Thanks!!
