Hi all,

Right. Was running Sandra (the piece of software). When checking my graphics card (64MB Geforce 3 Ti200), the performance tip it gave was that the Video BIOS was too old. It said:

"Warning W314 - The video BIOS is more than 3 years old. If the video adapter has a flash video BIOS, check whether an update is available and install it. You may gain extra performance or bug fixes.
Fix: If your video card has a flash BIOS check whether an updated version is available from the manufacturer."

Help!

Mark.

editing your bios could give you some gains but unless you know exactly what your doing i wouldn't touch it. I remember flashing my geforce 2 gts and my comp shutoff right in the middle of it. Took me almost an entire day to reflash it because i had to plug in an old vid card, write down all the steps of what to type, then plug in the gf2 card and hope i didn't make any spelling errors. If you have any extra money i'd just recommend getting a new vid card.

Wouldnt Worry about it,

Considering the Gf3 is now the 4th Oldest type of nvidia cards, ( gf4, FX not 6800 series ) bios updates stopped a long time ago for the GF3.

You may get a udate from the card manufacturer but its still going to be years old.

A new bios only really ironed out small incompatabilities, and very rarely a performance increase was seen as.
