The game is simply the BEST strategy around
It may be turn based and not having the best graphics around but as a execution is simply outstanding from creating your own ship designs to even choosing your political path that can affect your alliances with the other Civs , to research advancement and planet taxes
It makes Civilisation 4 hide in shame
Also the AI is excellent
