freeBSD 5.2 help..

I am having troubles getting X to run on 5.2.. I think I am missing a step somwhere. . any ideas?? Better yet. how do you get X to run from the command line when it boots up?.

1) Welcome to Warp2search.net-forum ajoyce.

2) I have tried almost every famous Linux distro. But never thought using freeBSD . i downloaded FBSD4.8 but never tried it . so cant help you here.

I imagine that other distro's such as debian or gentoo have the similar issues..still no ideas??

tried gentoo.. but didnt tried X .. Whenever ,i use any distro , i try all things except X like Kde or Gnome . if i wanna try X , i compile XFCE on it cause its fast and looks nice ..

hmm, ok thanks. Ive looked online to see how to get the GUI to work..but no luck
