Here in Australia my 1800 never drops below 40 minimum. You should know that not all mainboard heat sensors are reliable, and I don't know if MBM can read the XP's on-die sensor.

You might want to check it with a digital thermometor or something if you want to make sure. or try the latest Asus Probe (if you have an asus board) as it reportedly reads from the die sensor.

My temps with a XP 2000. TT Volcano 9 and 2 x 80m intake fans + 2 x 60m exhaust fans:

33-35c normal load
37-39c stressed

even when i have overclocked to 1818 mhz temps only rise about 2c. Monitered using MBM 5.2

most of u guys are chatting bullshit. you need to get an external probe and put it as close as you can to the cpu core.

some of the temps u have posted with the cpu's u are talking about are impossible on air.

i think u need to use ur brains a bit more instead of talking out ur ass
 yes sir

heh my P4 idles at 28c, and only reaches 33c under load, with a 4200rpm fan pushing 53cfm, and an alpha pal heatsink. dosn't hurt that i also have 4 panflo's for intake/out ultra quiet those panflo's are.
