I am having a good week here.
I compiled a Linux kernel for the first time in my life and i couldnt believe it. It was a complete sucess in first go. Its like hitting a home run on ur first bat in life. (u know what i mean)
UPDATE :- I totally forgot to add this; all the compiling and adding (to boot)the kernel was done in CLI (Command Line Interface) MODE ..
My Test RIG:-
Athlon XP 1800
128 mB ddR128
Asus Nfoce Mobo
60Gb samsung Hdd
Asus Geforce 2MX AGP
15" LG 500G
Distro :- FEDORA on Kernel 2.4.22
Compiled kernel :- Kernel 2.6-test11
Result :- SUCESS
Proof :-
