January 13, 2006 - I recall mentioning recently that no one has ever done Battlefield nearly as well as Digital Illusions. Class-based multiplayer shooters are pretty common, but adding vehicles and large outdoor environments is apparently a whole lot of work. Unreal Tournament has that stuff, but it's not class-based, and the maps are generally smaller -- killing boxes compared to the enormous chunks of land available to us in BF2.
