Doom 3 Console - Why doesn't it come up?????
This is a discussion about Doom 3 Console - Why doesn't it come up????? in the General Gamers Place category; I'm trying to access the Game Console within Doom 3, by pressing Ctl, Alt, ~ but nothing is happening. What am I doing wrong. Help appreciated before I go nuts!!!! Thanks Sue.

If its a UK keyboard, then try this...
Ctrl+Alt+`
` is the key to the left of the number 1 key

I have found the answer. It is Alt Gr + `. Thanks anyway. Sue
TIP:
If you edit the Doom3 shortcut and add " +com_allowConsole 1" to the end (without quotes), you only have to hit the tilde (~) key, just like all their previous games. Also, you can get the same effect by creating a text file in your Doom3base folder named "autoexec.cfg" and adding the line:
seta com_allowConsole "1"
You can also add whatever other console commands you wish to the autoexec.cfg file (this is what I do).
