now i have same problem like you... do you know what to do?

Here is my problem. I have had this problem since I had Windows ME and
a GeForce 2 GTS card. I cannot play a game for more than 5-15 minutes
depending on the level or game I play. This problem is random and not
limited to OpenGL or Direct3D. It also happens when I switch users on
my PC or during normal Windows operation. The computer will stall, a
message on my monitor will flash "DPMS Off Mode". Everything inside my
PC will be on, but the monitor will be "dead" and the computer will
not respond to any input from my keyboard. I have to hold down the
power button on my Addtronics case for a few seconds in order to shut
the PC down and turn it on again to use it. I thought this was a power
supply issue b/c everyone told me on the forums both here and
elsewhere to buy a new Power Supply. I purchased an Antec True430
430Watt Power Supply and the problem still exists. Windows XP is set
to "always on" for all power options. Is something wrong with my
motherboard? Is it a BIOS setting? I don't have anything changed in
the Power Management section of the BIOS. My system is as follows:

CPU: AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1.1GHz
Motherboard: MSI K7T Pro2-A
RAM: 512MB PC133 by Crucial
Primary Hard Drive: Western Digital 30GB 7200RPM ATA100
Secondary Hard Drive: Maxtor 13GB 72000RPM ATA66
DVD: Toshiba 8x
CD-RW: Plextor PlexWriter 12/10/32A
Video Card: Visiontek Xtasy GeForce 4 Ti 4600
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 X-Gamer
PCI USB 1.1 Add-in Card
PCI Network Card

All hardware have their latest, certified drivers (even for the GF4 Ti
4600 and the sound card). I am using ver. 4.38 of VIA's 4-in-1 service
pack. Nothing is overclocked or altered in any way. All drives are in
UDMA mode. All hardware has their own IRQ. Motherboard BIOS version is
3.40 dated 4/02/2002. Please help. I just spent $80 and don't want it
to be for nothing.

Also, I believe this problem is heat related. This did not happen w/ my Duron 800. My HSF is rated for up to 1.2GHZ though. I remember replacing a busted 120mm case fan that prolonged the amount of time it took for this problem to manifest. Now that the PSU controls the fan speeds, the problem occurs even quicker. I just ordered a Dragon Orb 3, I hope it will work.
