This is a discussion about DivX encoding. in the General Software category; Can anyone give me a guide to make a video file as SMALL as possible while keeping a decent quality ? I keep ending up with 10Mb files, low quality, and only 25 seconds of video.

I like Vidomi, it's simple and effective.
Use 2-pass VBR.
Lower audio for better video.
Try going crazy with Divx/Xvid's options, they help sometimes, other times they don't.
