Counter-Strike Help Pls
This is a discussion about Counter-Strike Help Pls in the General Gamers Place category; Hey all. I recently decided to switch from 1.5 to 1.6 but apparently my cdkey is in use, which personally is cheesing me off and ive been ripped off and i've done numerous ways of contacting Steam but no luck.

Does anyone have a spare CS CD Key that I can use. I will trade if that what it takes. 1.5 is now full of hackers and lame servers.

Just go out and buy a copy of Half Life or Counterstrike.
1 U get a legit key :finger:
2 U get all the Steam Games Half Life,Counter Strike,Day of Defeat,Team Fortress Classic,Deathmatch Classic,Opposing Force,Ricochet,Dedicated Server.
3 Better yet Buy the Half Life Platinum Box Set.Bing Bang Boom,U got Two Legit Working Keys HL&CS,that u can use on 2 systems Download Full Steam.exe The Great part is u dont even have to install the games.Steam Rocks and the server list loadup is so fast.

Or even better yet, check to see if someone else has the key, if you logged into Steam before under any circumstances (because Steam is very good at checking that stuff, I had it happen to me).

what you need to do is:
1. Take your Counterstrike.
2. Put it in a bin.
3. Light the bin on fire.

no for real can't you just contact sierra and ask for a new copy of CS ?
My sister played a lot of Diablo II till someday her key was taken by someone else ... must be luck since there was no trojan virus or anything
so she contacted blizard ... send her original copy to them and recieved a brand new with new CD key ... voila no more problem since then
