Hey guys
Thx for all the previous posts to all my threads, i really
appriciate it. Anyhow, I was thinking a bit about
video cards, since i'm thinking of upgrading. I don't have
my gf4 ti 4600 anymore. I was thinking between
the ATI radeon 9500 Pro, the 9600 pro or the geforce FX 5600 pro.
Could you guys tell me your opinion. The 9600 pro is awesome
but that fatal "mistake" in taking away 4 pixels per pipeline i find
pretty dumb. The rest is pretty much a hard decision. The price
should be between the 140 and 200 dollars. I know there will be
a 5600 with 256mb of memory but it will be probably more expensive
so forget about that for now.
Ok guys please let me know as soon as possible.
Thx

the FX 5600 and 5200 cards won't have an easy time against the new ATI products.- tomshardware.
I say go for ATI 9500pro... cause its in the market for relatively longtime, so the drivers shouldnt be a problem(as they are for ATI).
ITs your choice at the end.... BTW do tell us what you bought at the end
KYRO.

OP
Yo man
thx for the reply.
I'm going for the 9500 pro. But if you read my newest
post on the stores that might change. If they don't have the
9500 pro there for a good price....
But most likely they will. I'm praying at least. Will this card
be able to run doom 3 at it's fullest??
Thx man

who knows. the game isnt out yet. it didnt run the alpha leak very well though.

OP
not that any other card ran it perfectly....
the 4 extra pixels per pipeline will definitely help with doom
3 though.

I would go for ATI Radeon 9500. The price is also cheap.
