cheap and cheerful laser printers

This is a discussion about cheap and cheerful laser printers in the General Hardware category; Anyone own an inexpensive HP 1000W laserjet printer? What's the print quality like? You happy with it? Or anyone have any comparable, inexpensive laser printers to suggest? Cheers.

if it same like laserjet 1100 its crap ..... OK crap is too hard ... but if you like multiple sheets of paper at once or wired empty pages before the real page is printed ... or sometime even cryptic symbols getting out of tha printer ... you should choose it
all problems are know on HP site but the solutions are crap ... it can't be that I have to watch the paper be not too dry or too wet and so one ... and if the printer prints an empty page from time to time it has nothing to do with a driver setting ...

Ok crap isn't even enough .... normally I would say 1100 = better then 1000W huh ? if thats really true OMG .... on my work there is a laserjet 1100 and it really sucks ass ... first I though ... maybe they do not know what they are doing and the printer is just executing flase commands .... but even me can't do anything against the strange behaviour of the printer .... so I only can say hands away from laserjet 1100 its crap

I really like my 3820 as far as I used it .... but ...
