Changing Folder When Starting Explorer?

This is a discussion about Changing Folder When Starting Explorer? in the Everything Windows category; Hi guys, is it possible to change the start folder when you launch the explorer ? When I launch my Explorer the System automaticly moves to Start Menu (don t know which folder it is in the english XP Version).

Hi guys,

is it possible to change the "start" folder when you launch the explorer ?

When I launch my Explorer the System automaticly moves to "Start Menu" (don t know which folder it is in the english XP Version).

I would be great if the "start folder" would be C:

Anybody has a tipp ?

do u acces it by right click on "Start" ?

just press Windowskey + E

an you will start on My Workplace

Start --> right click --> explorer

you can automatically switch to any folder you want, by creating a shortcut to explorer.exe (or modifying an existing one) and alter the command line (or target of the shortcut) to explorer.exe /e,"Folder"

i.e., explorer.exe /e,C:
