Blurry type with Radeon 32mb and Catalyst 4.2/4.3
must have been bored

Was using a KMD 17" crt until it blew last week. A few days ago I picked up the fantastic Viewsonic A90f+ 19" CRT monitor.
My problem is this, when I'm using the computer for any app.....especially surfing the web, the type gets blurry for NO reason. It will literally be fine one web page, blurry when I go to the next web page, and clear when I go to the next page after that!! I've double and triple checked my clear type settings and am certain that's not the point of the problem.
So, do I return the new monitor (wasting time and driving 40miles roundtrip) or is the problem more likely the newer Catalyst 4.2/ 4.3 drivers?? I first noticed it after installing 4.3 but still present when I went back to 4.2!!
OR is there a possibilty that my Windowblinds 4 theme (Zippo) may be causing the problem, though the blurriness still exists when I go back to the default XP blue/silver/olive theme ?!?!

Then why not start by removing your windows blind theme. Then re-installing drivers, then if it fails, return the montior.
Also notice that when surfing the web....the bluriness also affects the favorites pane as well. If it's blurry while I'm on one page....it will clear up when I go to the next. Just a WEIRD phenomenon.......
Seems to be that I had the monitor engaged in whats called UltraBrite mode which is supposed to be for movies and games. WHY it blurs when surfing the web I don't know......but may just have to return it.
