Ati 3.3 OEM driver need help!!!!
I just bought a new Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb card, and I have this problem with Counter Strike game. Whenever I alt tab out of game and try to go back in, I got a black screen and it just freezes.

I just bought a new Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb card, and I have this problem with Counter Strike game. Whenever I alt tab out of game and try to go back in, I got a black screen and it just freezes. So I have to restart my computer.
I didnt have this probem with my old Geforce 4 Ti 4600 card, so anyone else who has Radeon 9800 card and have this problem? or anyone know how to fix this problem?
I have installed the latest driver from Ati which is Catalyst 3.2. And I know this site has the 3.3 Oem version, I downloaded it but I couldn't install it, it keeps saying INF error Driver not found, anyone else can help me? thx.

Hey, after I read the instructions, and I did everything, but I still can't install the 3.3 or 3.1 Catalyst, it keep saying INF error driver not found.
you did use the modded inf file??

Somtimes it needs a couple of goes, but then you have to start looking at other things, a modded inf file is good idea, make sure it's a clean install again. If not sometime's when I'm testing card's the problem is a faulty chip on the board that just cannot be read, or as simple as fitting a different main board ( obviously not a cheap soultion when your paying )
The granite chipsets in the ASUS board's do not like radeons that much but usually it can be solved in the way we have suggested getting the driver file's to play ball!
So if i get the modded inf file, then i can install Catalyst 3.3?

Nevermind guys, I figured out how to install any Catalyst now, and it worked. Thx for all the help and tips.
