I have installed the latest driver from Ati which is Catalyst 3.2. And I know this site has the 3.3 Oem version, I downloaded it but I couldn't install it, it keeps saying INF error Driver not found, anyone else can help me? thx.

what u mean not real? so it was a fake? then when is 3.3 coming out? soon? or ?
Their in the past were patch's for ATI cards, im not sure if you need this or not..
So the one on this site is the hacked one? and it won't work?
You guys said the Cat 3.3 will come out this week? or next week? or couple of week or sooner?
Also for who got the Radeon 9800 card, did you have problem with Counter STrike game when alt tab out of game and go back in it freezes??

Ok slow down, folks. The Dell drivers are not hacked and they are not faked. All there is to it is that they are not Catalyst 3.3. The dell drivers are beta and even Dell support does not really know why they were posted on their FTP.
Anyway the official Catalyst 3.3 drivers will be out in a timeframe of two weeks according to my press contact at ATI Canada.
Stay with the Cat 3.2 as long as they are not released.

The "dell" 3.3 drivers need to be forced through the device manager
then you will have no inf error messages. personally I would wait for the
next lot of drivers to come out, which now look like being 3.4 not 3.3 in
midMay. Just stick with 3.2. or if you want somthing different try the ATI
POWERPACK neutral catylist suite. Although it is about 21mb. People
asking for the 3.1 drivers get them off ATI's main site in archive driver
section.

Did you mean the old 3.1 catalyst from the ATI main site? Or did you mean the 3.3 3rd party beta driver that's posted on warp, rage etc.
If you mean't the old 3.1 you shouldn't have to force that through the device manager, it's an official ATI driver and as long as you have uninstalled ALL elements of the previous driver it will work fine.
The 3.3 is not an official catalyst driver and some people have had problems installing it. If you want to be really sure you have done everything you can to get it to work, it's best start with a CLEAN INSTALL
That doesn't mean reinstalling the OS! If you send me an email I'll send you the step by step on a clean install and how to get the 3.3 working.
Just tell me what OS, what card the usual spec on your machine.
All drivers work better after a clean install.

I have 2.4Ghz 533FSB 512 cache cpu
512 rdram
Radeon 9800 Pro card
Sound Blaster Audigy
80 Gb 8Mb cache hardrive
Window XP Pro with all the latest updates such as
Service Pack 1a, DX9a,....
I was refering to the Catalyst 3.1 version, not the 3.3, I 've tried both of them, and I got INF error for both of them, so how can I install for either of them? also, I tried to uninstalled old drivers, then install the 3.1 or 3.3, none of them work.

jincuteguy, the 3.1 driver is not the best to use on the 9800 it's more stable with the 3.2. Having said that you should not be getting an inf error message. you need to do a clean install. Thats cleaning every reference to ATI off your system. use "drive cleaner" its only a small program but works well. You can find it on most site's like warp or rage, or just do a search for it.
If you want to make sure everyhing is gone you need to clean the ATI folders out from the registry, get rid of all the system32 driver files uninstall everything from the device manger. I can give you the full instructions for a clean install as reccommended by ATI but it's to long for a thread! Use my email and I'll relpy with instructions, it's the only way to eliminate that as a cause for the problems your having. There are also some new DNA 3.3 drivers over at rage in the forums that work really well! But until you have this problem sorted there is no point bunging up the system with more drive files.
