MB P4P800 Deluxe have 8 USB ports. The ports on the connectors on the MB works on USB 2.0

The ports #5-8 on the motherboard only work on USB 1.1

I have windows XP Pro + SP1. Is there an extra driver to let the 4 ports on the MB to work on USB 2.0 so I can use mi memorypen 2.0 on the front pannel.

You 'r right Mertsch.
Thanks for the tip.

I have try to set the maximun ports to 4, but the result was the same.

The strange thing is that ASUS is saying that the connection on the board works for 2.0. Evrey on who have a P4P800 deluxe I know have the same problem. Is this not a driverproblem with dual memory boards"?

it hase nothing to do with DUAL memory ... its since there are 2 different USB chips as I know ... the USB inside cipset and one external .... those run in most cases @ 1.1 and 2.0

Why don't you get the PCI USB card? You may get 2.0 this way.
