the economy is in a bad state but it is in the process of rebounding, look at intel and nvidia theyre up, if the economy was in the state your talking about EVERYTHING would be down.
During all this tech. stocks have kept theyre own in general. That is bad for AMD no doubt...but its not entirely at fault of the economy or the stock market

I was just thinking that without Athlon 64 I dont see AMD selling more cpu's than they are now.. is that 3.5 million loss PER DAY or am I reading that wrong?
I believe that AMD and Nvidia will come back. They just need to
introduce the right products at the right time. It will be ok, they
won't die. AMD is bringing in nice overclocking CPU's now and
Nvidia will be coming with their NV35.

Nvidia have a 5% profit and ATI have a -3% profit...how come ?

nah it takes very long time to switch to 128bit ... remember 64 is in nearly any case useless now ... winXP 64 runs SLOWER when 64 bit enabled then WinXP 32
its way to early for DESKTOPS !! servers are some other question
it will take at least 5 year till 64bit will be of any real use ...
but as said ... intel and AMD are both good ... both have great CPUs and no one will die here ... the only thing dying is cyrix LMAO
