A7N8X-DLX Sil/ASUS hidden driver. ? :)
This is a discussion about A7N8X-DLX Sil/ASUS hidden driver. ? :) in the General Software category; Why not come out with iMac colours?? Of course, you would have to have something similar for the heatsink and a semi-transparent case to even notice after a while.

I was messing with updating the Sil3112A Chipset driver too version *.28 and Using Device Mngr. I updated driver manual and Unchecked the (Other) Compatiable driver, And saw this,
It is loaded up now, Seems ALOT faster and more CRISP if ya know what i mean, Seems Sil and ASUS has got somethin going here. Anyone else already know about this "hidden" Driver. ? :)

What web site is that driver available?

OP
silcon image web site has them.
Looks awesome.
I'm looking at getting a new computer soon, and that board looks to be pretty nice.
What are your impressions of it, especially the SATA. All of the motherboards that I've used have had difficulties handling large hard disk transfers. Basically what happens is the system slows to a crawl when I do a large disk read or write. (Even when using ATA100 on my current mobo)
I'm just looking for some user opinions about the board before I decide to get it.
Thanks,

Besides the cheezy post's about this brd(eg. leaky caps no BIOS NO mem boots up etc LOTS of n00b questions.) I have seem to LOVE it, I usually only keep a sys brd for not more then 2 or so mos. BUT this one I just love. I dont like NVidia Graphics BUT they seem to have somethin going on. :)
could you please tell me what driver you found in the Device Mangler and how/where you found it? The graphic you posted is gone and I can't find a .35 driver anywhere. BTW, the.29's are out now. They seem to work a lot better on my A7N8X Deluxe the the previous versions. Do you have the link to the Silicon Image page that has that driver on it? Thanks...
