A7N8X Deluxe having issues....NEED HELP...
where is this aspi driver ??? the link is not working !!
This topic was started by Chas,
Recently purchased a A7N8X Deluxe mobo, and DDR3200 ( 2 sticks of 512) OC Systems RAM
having frequent, unexplained reboots..... Never the same place or program..
On a fresh install of XP Pro, using AMD 2000+ ( still original)
Xabre 128 DDR Video Card, Maxtor 40 gig HD, CDRW and CD
Temp is 32 deg C (case).... 45-50 dec C (CPU)
System was working flawlessly before with 1 gig PC133 Ram using PCChips 810 mobo.
Has anyone else had similar issues? Corrective action??
Thoughts? I have not updated the bios yet, that is tonight...
When running system is a dream...... 8) :o

You sure everything is compatible and all that stuff ?
Don't be confused, OCZ is not OCsystem ram. They are both
very different. I don't believe it is your ram but like the others
said, try changing your timings to be less aggressive. Also still check
your video card, and powersupply. I really doubt it's the ram,
OCsystem makes really good ram, you have this if i am correct? :

Well that ram is great, it shouldn't have any problems, but offcourse
defective hardware is always possible from any manufacturer.
Tell me what happens when you've tried more things and updated
the bios, and finally try to install SP1 and all other new patches.

make sure your fsb and ram speed work @ the same speed to clear the problem
so if cpu runs @ 166 fsb set your ram speed the same (166 mhz)
and if you o/c your board to ex. 175 fsb set your ram to 175
it solved my problem with the a7n8x deluxe and corsair pc3200 LL 2 x 256 ( the ramguy told me @ www.asktheramguy.com )

Seems like a RAM timing issue to me... Or some other RAM related error (bad RAM stick???).
Look in Event Viewer for the errormessage and errorcode related to the reboots. If you can't find them then disable 'Automatically Restart' in System, Advanced Settings, Startup and Recovery settings. Now a BSOD with the errormessage and errorcode will be shown instead of a reboot.
Post the errormessage and errorcode here (or somewhere else). Might be helpful to trace the cause of the reboots.
