does the 9700 pro soft modded to 9800 equal in performance as the real 9800 pro?
does it change thecore n memory of the 9700 to 9800 when u soft mod
n last are they equal in benchmarks?

the soft mod only enable things like smoothvision 2.1 - you'd have to replace the core to get e 9800. the softmod doesnt OC your card.. you'd have to do that yourself.
from what i read the difference on a pure softmod, is almist nothing.

well you can overclock R9800Pro over GPU 400Mhz and memory a little more,over 740 Mhz,if you have R9700Pro clocked like R9800Pro which is 380/680,differences are very small.I just bought Hercules R9800Pro and now i run it 410/740,if i try it higher,then there are some white dots on polygons,so im going to use watercooling,lets hope,that gpu will go higher,if not,then problem is low voltage for GPU.
Where did u get the Hercules 9800 card? I wanan try to get it.

If you overclock ATI Radeon 9700 pro with SmoothVision 2.1 you can get ATI Radeon 9800 pro. Just do that if you want to get ATI Radeon 9800 pro.
