5600 Ultra SMOKE PROBLEMS

Why do my games DRAMATICALY SLOW down when there is fog. For example when i go through smoke-grenades in Cstrike,in IL-2 when my plane crashes and there is a lot of smoke and in all games where smoke is? PLEASE HELP I have e 5600 Ultra (Leadtek A310 Ultra).

Can be loads of things, my bet is that your resolution is very high and your card can't take it, and/or your processor is useless...

My thought, too...!

I´d really go for the graph. card... unfortunately it is not that powerfull with AA & AF on, try turning it off, go down in res. & depth; end all process in background.

How about the rest of the system?

Oh yeah, antialiasing is a killer for framerates if you have lots of particles - like in smoke :)

smoke general leats performance ... go for atuner (see MP) and turn off any option in the 6 fields + restore default settings in 3d / gl tab + apply that tweak in 3d field dunno hao it was called ... you will see ... full optimise
