This is a fix for Nvidia detonator4 27.42 for XP/2000.the_fix
(1)Unzip downloaded 27.42 driver into a temp dir.
(2)Overwrite the "inf" file with this version. http://www.geocities.com/tikimotel/the_fix.htm
(2a) uninstall old drivers first...(add/remove programs) if it doesn't work.
(3)Now you are ready to install this driver. (run "setup.exe" or update driver, have disk..etc. )
To fix the refreshrate you still need thirdparty programs. nvrefreshfix program can be found here! (check nvmax link at top)
This fix, helps the above mentioned program to recognize the refresh settings again. I didn't test with other programs!
