Best Soundcard for Semi-pro use

Hello there, Which is the best soundcard for semi-pro use up to the price of 300 euros? I know Audigys 2 or 4 are great but still look like consumer products. Any ideas? I would like digital and analogue inputs and the ability to have real time (hardware accelerated) effects.

Hi, could somebody tell me which DVD Backup Tool is the best? Unitl now i used DVD Shrink but i read in the news on this site that DVD Rebuilder has one of the best codecs in it.

I am trying to play nfs: underground 2 and the highest in game resolution is 1024x768, in silent hill 4 the highest resolution is 800x600, these are the highest choices i get in the options.

is there anyone with an audigy 4 here willing to share his driver CD ? not the complete one but the most important apps + driver ? since you are able to use audigy 2 driver cd with SBLive! why not the A4 CD for A2 at least its worth the try hope someone responds :D

TV problems

I have a PC connected to a TV using an SVideo cable plugged into a scart. I usually turn the TV on, set it to AV, and then tell windows to extend desktop to TV so I can use WMP on it to watch movies/etc.

Gmail invites now at 50

Gmail account holders now have 50 invites and I've checked and confirmed it as I have used one of the original six which left me with 5 for ages now. Today over at CDRLabs, I saw a thread about it and checked and I see its at 50 now.

SATA question

Hi there, I have an ABIT motherboard (AS8), and a SATA drive, but I cannot get the drive to run in SATA mode, the BIOS SATA properties report as combined mode and runs the drive @ ATA100/LBA.
